Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) landscape in Romania. This is a strategic partnership role where your income is directly tied to the value and funding you secure for the association.

You will have the autonomy to leverage your existing network and expertise to build long-term partnerships between Career Shift and the corporate world..

About Career Shift

Asociația Career Shift is a spin-off of the Career Shift organization, specifically created with the mission to support young people and other specific groups in discovering their career paths and broader career education. We bridge the gap between individual potential and the evolving job market through coaching, community, and expert-led programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and research corporate partners whose CSR pillars align with education, youth empowerment, and professional development.

  • Relationship Management: Utilize your existing network to open doors and initiate high-level conversations with CSR Managers, HR Directors, and Marketing Leads.

  • End-to-End Fundraising: Lead the entire process from initial outreach and pitch presentation to contract negotiation and closing.

  • Sponsorship Proposals & Pitching: Craft compelling, tailored sponsorship decks and partnership proposals for corporate clients. 

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and monitor the results of your fundraising activities and the impact of the partnerships you secure to ensure all KPIs are met.

  • Impact Communication: Collaborate with the team to ensure corporate partners receive high-quality feedback and visibility as per their agreements.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, business development, or corporate sales.

  • Established Network: A "warm" portfolio of contacts in the CSR and Corporate Communications departments of major companies in Romania.

  • Demonstrated Results: Ability to provide examples of successful fundraising campaigns or corporate partnerships previously managed, including proven processes for lead generation.

  • Exceptional Communication: Fluent in English and Romanian, with the ability to deliver persuasive pitches to C-level executives.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly self-motivated and comfortable working towards performance-based targets.
